Who is your personal Hero?

Heroism comes in many forms.  Sometimes heroes are larger than life, created in a defining moment, such as a life-saving event.  Some heroes are more subtle; their efforts are spread over weeks, months or even years.  Our society is filled with individuals who make a difference in other's lives.  We hope you will help us discover these heroes, so we may honor them and reward their wonderful efforts with a small token of appreciation.

We want to know: Who inspires you?  To whom do you look for Wisdom, Inspiration and Hope?

Our new President talks a lot about Hope.  We think this is important, but we also think it is important that we as individuals do what we can to make a difference.

We do not want to put any limitations on your choice of Personal Hero.  You may choose to recognize someone who does something truly Heroic such as saving a life, or someone who in their every day life makes a difference, such as a special teacher.

Each month we will give a $100 gift certificate to the Honoree, and a $50 gift certificate to the person who nominated the winner. The Gift Certificates will be good for any of our stores or any item we sell.

Our staff will vote on entries and a winner will be announced after the 1st of the following month. We welcome readers ad judges. If you would like to participate in voting drop us an e-mail. We will notify you each month when voting is open.

Each month we will start a new Blog Topic, it will have the same title, and the month so you can find it easily.

Winners will be asked for a photo. We will recognize the winner in a special blog posting as well as on a special page on our stores.

We will make changes as needed to improve this program. We are always open to suggestions, so if you have an idea please let us know.

How to Enter: Post your submission as a reply to each months Contest initiation Message.

If you have trouble posting, e-mail us and we can post for you.

Voting info will be posted before the voting period begins.

Misc Rules:

By entering this contest you give us permission to publish your story, photo, and name on our web sites.

Each entry must include the full name of the nominee, the person making the nomination must include their full name, phone number and e-mail address. Only the names will be published. The entries are moderated, we will remove e-mail and phone numbers prior to posting unless specifically requested to publish them by the entrant.

Specific Events must have happened within 6 months of your submission.

You must wait 6 months to resubmit the same nominee. Resubmissions must be rewritten and updated with current data about the nominee.

We reserve the right to verify submissions and to disqualify any submissions that are not true and accurate as represented.

We reserve the right to change the way we administer this program as needed.
